Evaluation for Unit 2

Use of equipment

 When I join this I had lot of knowledge because  I went to these club at the town hall These are the ones I could do: 

• Photoshop
• final cut
• word
• camera

These are the one I couldn't do:

• set up a tripod
• make a magazine
• loading the tape
• Blogger

But now I can do it all the time.

Saving/storing material

Do you make sure that you organise your folders and name your documents correctly? When I create a folder for my work and gave it a appropriate name that is relative to the topic and easy to remember such as Music video treatment,Research,Music video Analysis etc. When I name the folder I always save it on media folder NEVER on the desktop. 

Working accurately

I check the spelling and capitals and capitals and grammar in my treatment and reports when I got the focus feedback. When I started I couldn't crop photos but now I can in media. I aline text on my work neatly.

Creativity 

 When I started I wasn't creative but now I am creative because of my art skills, creative writing etc. My Creativity with blogger has improve because I now know how to use it . Using Blogger has helped me upload my work. I didn't standard on blogger template i made my own.

Strongest skills

When I started the course, My strongest skill was Photoshop and final cut. I still have these skills along with another skill  That I have learnt, that is blogger. I have learnt blogger by going on sir blog.

Skills that need improvement

These are the ones I am struggling with designing a storyboard.I have use when I did the film activity But I only use it at the beginning of the activity. I can improve by watching film videos on youtube.  

Research report for Music Video

1. The research I have been undertaking has been focussed on attempting to find out about many things about the form of the Music Video. The research has looked into various aspects including the analysis of music videos from the same artist and, more loosely, the same genre. I have research my Analysis of music video of the same of similar artist and then the same gender. the convention of music video. Looking on the web for tips about shooting music videos. Brainstorming the lyrics, looking for imagery and ideas. creating mood board. presenting to a focus group.
2. Overall feedback were positive. some of the focus group stated that the iconography and location in keeping up with the genre.some of the comment were negative such as the native unclear to read.
3. I agreed the narrative is not clear i will improve this by introducing a more traditional chronological narrative that explains how the story moves along in a clearer fashion.
